Riri Williams (Dominic Thorne) on her way to the Marvel Cinematic Universe in Black Panther: Wakanda Forever before she stars in her own series on Disney+ next fall. While the first joke to Wakanda forever The lovable hero has shown off building her first superhero suit, a new reveal from Funko featuring the right figure in the MK1 Ironheart armor.
Much like Iron Man’s Mark I armor, Williams manufactures it with tools and materials on hand, resulting in a less accurate prototype. The look isn’t as heavy as Iron Man’s first armor, and includes boosters that allow her to fly as well as a repelling cannon on her arm. See for yourself below.

“I was home in Delaware and got a call asking if I wanted to play the role. It was the best phone call I could ever get,” Thorne previously said of getting the role. “I was so shocked, in fact, that there was such a lag in the conversation! (laughs). I was waiting for them to say, like, ‘Oh, we’ll send you sides,’ or, ‘Get a tape over us.'” But there was none of that, it was like, ‘Would you like to do this?’ It was probably the most unique experience I have ever had because there was no test at all.”
In a separate interview, the Marvel newcomer said it’s always been more about the story over the character for her.
“For me, at this point, it’s really all about the story,” she added. “That’s what many of us entering this profession think. What attracts you is the ability to tell stories that mean something to people. In high school, the motto was Empathy, Empowerment, or Educate, and that’s what I’m still committed to today. So I hope to participate in A story does that. There are real people with real stories and real emotions at their core. Even if it’s not mine or your experience, it gives someone the opportunity to change; the opportunity to expand their minds or learn in a new way. I think that’s one of the most beautiful and powerful things that this model can do. do it.”
