Now, Shang-Chi star Simu Liu talks about the news, reflects on his time with the director at Comic-Con in 2019 and shares his excitement over the latest news.

Currently, a sequel to Shang Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings In development with directly linked Cretton and also rumored to be overseeing a miracle man Disney + series. Cretton has a blanket deal with Marvel. Not much is currently known about Avengers: Kang Dynasty, regardless of its May 2, 2025 release date. However, it is highly likely that director Jonathan Majors’ Kang the Conqueror will be the main villain given that the movie bears the character’s name. Majors debuted as a variant of Kang He Who Remains in the first season finale of loki He will return as Kang the Conqueror in Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumaniawhich kicks off from Stage 5. Kang Majors will bring a completely different villain to things more than anything we’ve seen before.
“It’s up to the cast and with Jonathan Majors, who I think took over the Hall H stage, you know, in the three minutes he was there,” Feige told us. “It’s amazing, and I told him that with no one on anyone’s shoulders, I’d rather have the saga of the multiverse on his shoulders.
