Daredevil Charlie Cox will have eighteen episodes in the MCU. Daredevil: Born Again could do everything from bring Marvel Netflix’s Defenders into the MCU, to seeing Wilson Fisk Kingpin (Vincent Donofrio) follow his comic path and become a major political figure, which could make superhero lives hell in a very different way.
Captain America: New World Order
Release date: May 3, 2024
Sam Wilson (Anthony Mackie) has taken over the shield and cloak, but it looks like the timing might be somewhat unfortunate. In the comics, the New World Order is founded by Red Skull in a secret plot to take over the world. There have been many similar stories in Marvel lore since then (Leviathan) which can be simplified into the premise of Captain America 4. Either way, it looks like Sam will discover that there are some very unnatural (world-threatening) things going on in world politics and espionage.
Lightning
Release date: July 26, 2024
It will be the end of the fifth stage of the MCU Lightning A series that started as a team of villains pretending to be heroes. Given everything we’ve seen in Phase 5 leading up to it, Thunderbolts makes us wonder if Phase 5 will end with a new world system of villains who rule reigns, and heroes left in their path.
