Former NBA Champion Dwight Howard made a surprise appearance at WWE Tryouts in Nashville while summerslam Last weekend he indicated in several interviews that he would like to become a star in WWE once his basketball career is over. “If he gets into the ring, I’ll throw him with a spear and cut him in half. He’s like a giant. He’s 10 feet tall. I have experience with giants. I’ve had omos, and I threw him, and he’s half the size of omos,” Lashley said.

“I remember having a conversation with my teammates last year in Los Angeles,” Howard told ComicBook during a media briefing after the tests ended Friday. “They asked me if I wasn’t playing basketball, what would I do? I said I’d love to be a wrestler. LeBron was like, ‘Man, looks like you’re going to be a wrestler.’ “I was really thinking about it, and here we are.”
Howard was also asked if there was any other NBA player who would be a good fit in WWE. LeBron James and DeMarcus named cousins.
“I think a lot of great players [would be good]Howard said. DeMarcus Cousins, he’d be good for wrestling. For something like that, he has a lot of personality. It’s very powerful, mobile, things like that. I think it will be fine here. Obviously, LeBron, he’s going to be funny here with wrestling and things like that, but that’s my element. Acting, being in front of the camera, smiling, trying to put on a show and being entertained. That’s what I love.”
