Controversial Nintendo Switch game officially postponed

The upcoming and controversial Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch Lite, and Nintendo Switch OLED game has been officially postponed and indefinitely postponed in the process. Back in July, we got word of a game coming to Switch on August 4th called Massage Freaks. At the time, we noticed it might be the most popular NSFW game released on the Switch yet. Back in the day when Nintendo was fiercely protective of games released on its consoles, especially any game that threatened its family-friendly image, this wasn’t so much a claim to fame. But with the Switch, Nintendo has abandoned that strategy and is way more free when it comes to which game leagues are allowed to be released on its platform. In other words, being the most NSFW gamer on the platform would be a claim to fame. However, it appears that Nintendo blocked the game from a Switch release this week, at least in its current form.

The news comes through translation, but Quriyat recently announced that the game has changed names from Massage Freaks to me Beat Refle The toggle is no longer bound. At the moment, there is no information on when this will change. According to developer Quraiti, the delay is the result of “discussions with related parties”. Nintendo’s name hasn’t been dropped, but it’s unclear who this could refer to.

“The Nintendo Switch release of ‘Massage Freaks,’ which was scheduled for release on August 4, 2022, has been postponed following discussions with related parties.” “We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience caused to our customers. I would be grateful if you would read the attachment.

Although it looks like the game will never arrive on the Nintendo Switch, it’s available via Steam and has been around since July 31. On the PC storefront, it has a rating of “Mostly Positive” with 77 percent of 76 users rating the game review positively. And as you’d expect, many user reviews of the game aren’t really safe to work with.

At the time of publication, there is no word on when the game will arrive on the Switch and there is no comment from Nintendo. What is worth noting is the fact that the Switch version of the game has been removed from the game’s official website.
