Pre-order and release dates for the Google Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro have been revealed

Google Pixel 7 Pro and Google Pixel 7 were announced at the end of Google I/O 2022. The company showed both phones and even teased some of their details. While this was very exciting, the hype has since largely died out. Fortunately, new information about the two phones has been revealed, and it looks like the two devices finally have a release date.

Jon Prosser, known for his knowledge of Apple, has revealed that the Google 7 phones will be launched in mid-October. According to his trusted and reputable sources, both phones will be available for pre-order starting from October 6th and will go on sale later starting from October 13th. Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro release dates.

Regarding official information, Google has shared photos and phone demos, the latter of which can be seen in the attached videos. The phones design is quite polarizing, but Google leans towards their own unique design, which started with the Pixel 6 devices. The back has a unique visor housing the phone’s cameras. When it comes to its internal components, so far, what is known is that Google will release the next generation of Tensor processor. When launched, these smartphones should become huge devices in the Android space, especially since they should be running Android 13 at launch.

Google is also expected to launch the Google Pixel Watch. The smartwatch got a kick out during the Google I/O 2022 conference. While not much is known about the wearable, we do have a few details. The device will have a circular AMOLED display and a physical crown. It is rumored to be powered by the older generation of Samsung chips, as it has 1.5GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage.

One advantage it may have compared to its competitors is that it will likely run Wear OS 3. Although the operating system was announced some time ago, it has not yet made it to many wearables. For now, we’ll have to be patient, as Google hasn’t even announced a date for its event, which will happen sometime in the fall. Fortunately, other events await us, most notably Samsung’s Galaxy Unpacked, which will take place next week on August 10.
