Leonardo DiCaprio’s The White City may be dead, but Keanu Reeves appears to be taking over.

In the Realm of Realist Literature, Eric Larsen’s book The Devil in the White City Popular for nearly 20 years, it tells the stories of both architect Daniel Burnham and serial killer HH Holmes during the first half of the 1890s. The Devil in the White City It would have been directed by frequent collaborator Martin Scorsese and written by Billy Ray. Although this movie never happened, the streaming adaptation that came out of Ashes took a huge step forward with Keanu Reeves taking over.

Back in 2019, Hulu started developing a series The Devil in the White City, with Leonardo DiCaprio and Martin Scorsese as executive producers. Announced in virtual Hulu time before the Television Critics Association summer tour press period, the streaming service was officially announced. The Devil in the White CityIt will be produced by Keanu Reeves and starring Daniel Burnham. Reeves’ previous major TV tours include re-running Ted Logan Aloud in the animated series The excellent adventures of Bill and TedAs well as starring in the short-lived comedy series Swedish dicks.
