Modern Hollywood movies are built at the studio level on Easter eggs and cameos, and while we often associate that with something like Marvel and DC movies, Columbia Pictures Express train It proves that original movies can do just that, too. The first of these inscriptions occurs almost immediately and is Sandra Bullock voicing Maria Beetle, Brad Pitt’s ladybug wizard. Although her voice is heard throughout most of the film, and her name is eventually taped, she does not appear on screen until the last scene. Some viewers may have been expecting Bullock, too, since her appearance was announced, but the first surprise comes out of nowhere, or is it? While on the run from the character of Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Pete offers money to a man to wear fat and glasses to get rid of ATJ while on the run. This guy is none other than Channing Tatum, whom Pete’s approaching on the express train supposedly “is a sexual thing.”
There is another surprising surprise and this requires a little explanation. in the core Express train is that there are many assassins on the same train, and it turns out that most of them are there because the mysterious White Death, the leader of the Japanese underworld, put them all there hoping for revenge and also that they will wipe out each other. There is one problem, however, that Brad Pitt’s Ladybug is not the person White Death had hired and hoped to get rid of. The White Death was searching for a killer known as Carver, the killer who killed his wife in a car accident. When Ladybug confirms to the White Death that Not Carver We get a glimpse of the real Carver, and behind the mask is none other than Ryan Reynolds. appears on the screen for maybe two seconds.
So where did all this come from? Tatum’s cameo looks like an addition related to his latest feature film the lost City. Not only did he co-star in this movie with Sandra Bullock, but Brad Pitt played a role in it as well, possibly a role equivalent to Bullock’s role in Express train. To put the cherry on top, Tatum is shown reading the obvious in the romance novel Express trainhaving just played a cover model for the romance novel in the lost City. On the other hand, it’s easy to see how Reynolds ended up here, having starred Deadpool 2 who had Bullet Train Director David Leach behind the camera.
