Xbox reveals the first singing controller

Xbox has unveiled a lyrical Xbox console. This is not a joke or foolish. There is now a series of custom Xbox consoles based on the song “Bad Decisions” by Benny Blanco, BTS, and Snoop Dogg. Xbox described it as the first-ever Xbox controller, which sounds like a really real statement given the fact that it sounds like an unusual decision to make. And 30 of them are awarded to promote the new song.

How to enter the lottery seems relatively simple. Anyone 18 or older needs to follow the official Xbox Twitter account and retweet the promotional tweet, embedded below, with the hashtag “#BadDecisionsSongXboxSweepstakes” for a chance to win. As mentioned earlier, 30 lucky winners will receive one of the dedicated Xbox consoles to celebrate the release of the song “Bad Decisions” and the music video. The sweepstakes is scheduled to run until August 25th at 9PM ET / 6PM PT.

In particular , Sweepstakes official rules Note that the Xbox console dedicated to singing “Bad Decisions” is for display use only. It’s somewhat unclear from the promotional image how exactly one gets to sing, but it does look as if the speaker might be on the underside near what would normally be the battery compartment. Because it is used in the display, it may not actually be a functional controller, which could allow any of the buttons to start any clip of what one would assume were “bad decisions” when pressed.

If you’re curious about what the song itself sounds like, you can check out the official music video for “Bad Decisions” by Benny Blanco, BTS, and Snoop Dogg below:

As mentioned above, the sweepstakes for the first Xbox console singing is now live and scheduled to end on August 25th at 9PM EST / 6PM PT. 30 grand prize winners will be chosen based on eligible entries, and each winner will receive one personalized Xbox console based on the song “Bad Decisions” written by Benny Blanco, BTS and Snoop Dogg.
