Pillsbury Launches Count Chocolat and Franken Berry Cake Dough for Halloween

As we head into the fall months and Halloween soon approaches, Monster Cereals fans will be searching the shelves at nearby supermarkets in hopes of picking up some beloved breakfast boxes, with Pillsbury revealing a whole new way to celebrate the spooky season. While Pillsbury might usually serve up sugar cookies with images of ghosts and pumpkins, this year it will honor Count Chocolat and Franken Berry with cookies that include their image, with the candy flavor also to represent the beloved characters. Cookies will be rolled out in select stores in the coming weeks.

Pillsbury often served pictured sugar cookies in honor of festive feasts, with a twist on flavor sure to impress Monster Cereals fans. Thankfully, that’s not the only thing different for Halloween, the lovable Frute Brute is also back in the lineup, while artist KAWS has updated the cereal box art.

Kellogg previously described, “Inspired by classic horror movie characters, Monster Cereals has been a fan favorite for over half a century, and this year the famous American artist and Monster KAWS enthusiast took inspiration from the retro design of the original boxes. In addition to individual case designs, KAWS has also designed customizable bean trophies.” Collectible for each character, which is available as a set of four via sweepstakes on the package.
