Tekken 8 apparently teased at Evo 2022

Looks like Bandai Namco Entertainment just got annoyed Tekken 8 To coincide with Evo 2022. Since 1994, Tekken has been one of the most popular fighting game franchises and has received many installments and royalties. And while Bandai Namco has largely continued to support the 2015 release of Tekken 7 Over the past years instead of releasing a new installment, it seems Tekken 8 He could now be on his way.

Teased via a trailer that announced a new update for Tekken 7Bandai Namco seems to have dropped its first hint that the next Tekken game is now in development. Despite the lack of details, this flashback video ended up in the original Tekken Kazuya throws Heihachi off a cliff before turning to the camera and smiling. Looking at the camera in this video, she then cuts to a new character model from Kazuya that closely resembles his appearance in recent games. Then the phrase “Get ready” appeared on the screen before the video ended.

You can see the trailer for yourself in the embedded tweet below:

Although Bandai Namco has yet to confirm that this harassment was for her Tekken 8This appears to be the most likely possibility. The main reason for this belief is because Tekken 7 It has become very old, which will open the door to a new entry in the series. Although Bandai Namco still supports the game, Tekken 7 It was launched in 2015. As such, the game’s life cycle certainly appears to be coming to an end.

It should be noted that the last gap between the main Tekken entries ended up being eight years. Tekken 6 It was released in 2007, followed by the aforementioned Tekken 7. Assuming the same period of time between entries plays again, it indicates that Tekken 8 It should be around the corner. Hopefully Bandai Namco will have more to say about this annoyance regarding the future of Tekken in the coming weeks and months.

Are you excited to hear that Tekken 8 may be on the way? And when do you think we can hear more about this project? Let me know your own thoughts either in the comments or connect with me on Twitter at Trustworthy.
