Hunter X Hunter Many fans were made happy this year by creator Yoshihiro Togashi’s announcement that new chapters for the manga franchise are currently being worked on. With new installments on the way, we’re sure to see Leorio’s character return alongside the likes of Gon, Killua, and Kurapika to name a few. A cosplayer recently took the opportunity to bring the most elegant hunter into the real world, and created a new version of the anime’s prequel as well.
Leorio, unlike many Hunters introduced over the course of Togashi’s Shonen series, wasn’t just a force, and routinely unable to keep up with his comrades when it came to physical brawls. Fortunately, the sharply clothed protagonist has been able to think outside the box in many different scenarios and is sure to do the same in future chapters of the manga. The series’ current arc, The Succession Contest Arc, has focused on a variety of new characters fighting on their royal stations and it will be interesting to see what role, if any, Leorio will play, as new chapters of the manga arrive.

To help celebrate the return Hunter X Hunter, mangaka Yoshihiro Togashi shares brief glimpses on the upcoming pages of the main manga’s return. Thanks to these updates, Togashi is the most followed manga artist on Twitter today, proving how much to expect the return of the Shonen series really. While there’s no news of a new anime series set to hit the small screen, or a continuation of the TV show produced by Studio Madhouse, there’s sure to be plenty of material for future anime adaptation in case the series one day returns in the middle.
