Tennis League VR free trial launched on August 12 for Quest, Quest 2

Cheer up tennis fans, because there’s a new contender on the horizon in the VR arena with Tennis League VR for Meta Quest and Meta Quest 2 and you’ll be able to try it for free before release.

Starting tomorrow, August 12th, you’ll be able to play the game for free (upper) courtesy of the free trial that’s launching on the official Quest storefront. At the time of writing, Tennis League VR is also available as an early initial release via Quest AppLab, but the official beta that will launch on August 12 will be even more powerful and available to all players for free.

This demo will spark a bit of interest before the game’s impending release later this year, sometime in the fall or fall if Wimbledon is a few hours away by train.

Tennis League VR promises players an authentic tennis experience in virtual reality with realistic physics that allows players to perform realistic tennis moves. There is a single player mode complete with various playing options, as well as online multiplayer where you will be able to set up matches and matches, and even invite a few friends to sit in the virtual stands to cheer you up.

Meta Quest and Meta Quest 2 already have some decent tennis games in the form of First Person Tennis and Eleven VR Table Tennis. Admittedly, the latter is not the full tennis experience, but it is a good entry point for newcomers to the sport and is highly recommended for your practice really. But if that’s the full Grand Slam experience you want, the free Tennis League VR demo will be released tomorrow. Strawberry and cream not included.
