The release date for the upcoming Blue Lock anime has been confirmed, along with a new trailer and key visuals.

More often than not, we get an animated TV series related to sports, where the cartoon shows are mainly about action, powerful attacks, strong villains, and a stronger hero. Blue Lock aims to break the mold into something like many other anime shows. This series is all about football, and its unique concept of introducing football into the anime world is what has attracted the attention it deserves.

The series’ writer, Muneyuki Kaneshiro, began serializing the Blue Lock manga in August 2018. To date, 20 volumes of the series have been published, and new chapters are currently being released. In a short period of time, the series has gained more popularity than any other manga series related to sports. Noting the high praise the series received from fans, the anime was re-adjusted to green on August 12, 2021.
