War zone removes skin after plagiarism accusations

a Call of Duty: War Zone The skin has been removed from the game and Activision has issued an apology following accusations of plagiarism. Over the past few years, Call of Duty has transformed into a truly authentic service game with loads of content releasing at a fast rate to keep players engaged. Since there is a lot of competition, Activision needs to put out a large amount of content to keep up and stay in the competition. Call of Duty has moved beyond map packs into cosmetic items and packs to try and offer a variety of content for players to purchase.

Unfortunately, one recent cosmetic item for Call of Duty: Vanguard And Call of Duty: Vanguard has been accused of being the result of plagiarism. The Floofy Fury pack features a skin called Loyal Samoyed for player Kim Tae Young that allows players to dress up as a kind of tactical dog-like creature. Fans of the leather were so impressed that an artist named Sail Lin revealed that the leather looks a lot like a piece of concept art they created. This sparked a lot of controversy online as Activision pulled the character from marketing materials before it was finally released Apology/Statement to Polygon. The publisher confirmed that it has removed the character from the game and it seems unlikely that there will be any kind of replacement in the foreseeable future.

“We have the utmost respect for creativity and content creation,” Activision said. We love Loyal Samoyed, but unfortunately we erred in our process and removed these images from the game. We apologize for this slip.”

Shel Lin Monument That he had “no good results” and wanted a formal apology and a direct explanation, something apparently not offered. As of now, it’s not clear if Activision has any other type of furry character to continue selling the “Floofy Fury” bundle or if the entire bundle is cancelled.
