Pokemon GoThis last day came for the community, focusing on the dark/normal type Pokémon Galleari Zigzagoon. Today’s Community Day will only last 3 hours, although the game does add a “Bonus” feature that starts after the event ends and is only available to “Live” players who can travel to gyms. Obstagoon, with Obstruct’s Community Day bonus movement, Pokémon become more viable to use competitively.

Stuful Community Day runs from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. local time on August 13.
Galarian Zigzagoon Community Day – Exclusive Transfer
Any Galarian Linoone who evolved into Obstagoon between 11am and 7pm today would know that charged movement is hampering. Obstruction is not a move that causes significant damage, but it lowers the opponent’s defense and raises the Obstagoon’s defense at the same time, which can be a huge swing in battle. Adding a block to Obstagoon’s move range makes Obstagoon more viable in all three tournaments. While it’s not necessarily an upgrade from Night Slash, which was Obstagoon’s previous move, it’s a very powerful compliment.
Galarian Zigzagoon Community Day – Other Bonuses
4 star raids back to Yom Galarian Zigzagón. After the community day ends at 2 PM, 4-star raids with Galarian Linoone will begin to appear. Players will have 180 seconds to defeat a 4-star Galarian Lennon and will be rewarded with a Galarian Zigzagoon forks around the gym. However, players cannot remotely raid in these 4-star raids – players have to come in person to participate. Because of the raid time, you will need 2-4 players to defeat the Galarian Linoone in the raids.
Players will also get double XP for catching pokemon, double candy for moving pokemon, and deals will cost 75% less Stardust than usual.
Like other Community Day events, Galarian Zigzagoon Community Day will also feature an enhanced shinny mod for Pokemon. Shiny Deino has red stripes instead of its usual black stripes, making it easier to spot. You can check out Shiny Galarian Zigzagoon below:
