In his first drive for the Cleveland Browns in 2022 pre-season, the foul suffered a devastating injury as starting center Nick Harris was thrust out of the field.
All eyes were on Friday night’s season opener for the Cleveland Browns against Jaguar on Deshaun Watson as the controversial quarterback made the team’s start. However, there were also several other starters for the team that took the field in Jacksonville and it could end up being an expensive decision.
In the first round of the game, expected starting center Nick Harris was put in a bad spot and ended up on the grass clearly in a lot of pain.
He stayed on the ground for a long time and, unfortunately, had to be taken off the field.
Nick Harris injury: Browns position suspended for pre-season opener
Harris was set to take the starting position on Cleveland’s star offensive line after veteran J.C. Tretter’s departure in an ill season. The first leg match in the previous fifth round in Washington impressed the technical staff in recent seasons and seemed ready for the big role in the attack. This makes it more painful to see.
Although we don’t have details on how badly Harris was injured, it wasn’t good, and the fact that he was taken away is not a good sign.
Back up on the list is Ethan Bositch, a former Seahawks businessman, who had a choppy career in Seattle. However, it’s worth noting that Tretter is still a free customer at this point, so there’s now a possibility that Cleveland will look to bring it back into the fold.
