A Texas boy appears in a back-to-school advertisement wearing body armor

IIn one of the most powerful media campaigns in living memory, a group of Texas moms commissioned a back-to-school television advertisement depicting a young boy in body armor.

With the number of school shootings on the rise, a high-profile special event took place in Ovaldi, Texas just before the summer holidays, parents are looking to take a stand against the governor. Greg Abbott.

In the ad, a mother is seen dressing her son for a day in elementary school, buttoning his shirt and tying his shoes.

What follows is a rather sinister and powerful turn, but that’s the point of the campaign.

Then the mother steps back to take a picture of her son and it becomes clear to the viewer that he was in fact wearing body armor and a helmet, the kind you would see on a soldier in a war zone.

“Our children are not soldiers,” says the on-screen caption.

The advertising campaign is organized by PAC led by women against Greg AbbottThe group is seeking to prevent him from being re-elected on November 8.

Beto O’Rourke He’s the Democratic nominee in Texas and is running for an incredibly gun-fix-focused platform, as demonstrated by his rowdy exchange with a reviewer at a recent rally.

In addition to television advertisements, the group always pays for billboards with similar messages to be shown in the run-up to the November elections.
