Celtic want Sead Haksabanovic and are back in the hunt for the Rubin Kazan ace after being linked with a move earlier this summer.

It’s been another positive window for Celtic, who have achieved a huge feat by securing Cameron Carter-Vickers and Jota on a permanent basis.

There are also new signings with Benjamin Siegrist, Alejandro Bernabei, Aaron Mooy and Moritz Jenz all arriving at Parkhead.

There could be room for another addition or two before the transfer deadline, and a new rumor has emerged.

“Celtic” wants Sead Haksabanovic

The Daily Record reports Celtic are once again considering the transfer of Rubin Kazan talent Sead Haksabanovic.

Sport Express in Russia reported earlier this summer that Rubin had offered Haksabanovic to Celtic, but the Bhoylar said no.

Now there is an idea that Rubin is lowering his asking price in hopes of offloading Haksabanovic.

Rubin may even be willing to send Haksabanovic out on loan more than a year after paying £6m to sign him from IFK Norrkoping.

Celtic are now considering making another move for Haksabanovic and could finally make a move to bring him to Parkhead.

Haksabanovic, 23, may be familiar to some as he joined West Ham United from Halmstads in 2017.

The Montenegro international failed to break through at West Ham and after a loan spell at Malaga, he returned to Norrköping first on loan and then on a permanent basis in 2020.

21 goals in 72 games for Norrköping caught the attention of Rubin and he secured his big move to Russia.

However, after just 23 appearances for Rubin, Haksabanovic was loaned out to Djurgården in March due to the ongoing conflict between Russia and Ukraine.

Rubin are now ready to cut their losses and move Haksabanovic on, while Celtic agree a deal.

Left-sided winger Haksabanovic, who cuts his right foot, could be signed as competition for Jota.

Having signed the Swedish ace from Rubin Kazan in Karl Starfelt last summer, Celtic have now managed to repeat the trick by signing Haksabanovic.
