Jurgen Klopp has another problem with Naby Keita at Liverpool, according to Florian Plettenberg.

Sky Germany’s Plettenberg believes the Guinea international was in talks to extend his contract at Anfield, although talks with the Reds have now stalled.
The Sky Germany journalist adds that injuries to Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Thiago will not affect the situation and Keita’s departure is still possible.
Plettenberg concludes that the matter is still in the early stages and that negotiations between all parties will soon take place.
After back-to-back Premier League draws, injuries to the likes of Diogo Jota and Ibrahima Konate and a three-game suspension for Darwin Nunes, this is the last thing Klopp needs at Liverpool.

We think Liverpool need to cut their losses and sign a new central midfielder – Keita has plenty of time to prove himself at Anfield and has yet to impress.

Klopp was already in need of a new central midfielder before these reports emerged, so there is every reason for the German to enter the market now and spend big on a fresh face.
Crucially, Keita is out of contract in June 2023, so Liverpool must sell now or risk losing him for next year.
