During a new interview with CinemaBlendFoxx revealed why the movie hasn’t seen the light of day yet.
“Man, it was hard, with the earth when it comes to comedy, man,” Fox said. “We try to open up those sensitive corners where people come back to laughing again. And that’s why I think, even in this movie, what’s great is that the only thing we kept hearing on shows was how many people were laughing. So, we hope to make them laugh and run them in all-stars in The weekend, because we were definitely going for it.”
“We all play different characters. I play a racist white cop. I’m going to show you that. I’m going to pick up the thing and show it to you. Robert Downey Jr. plays a Mexican. It turns out that the actor was convinced to make a comeback due to his promise that he wouldn’t have to be blue this time.
“I was excited to find out [producer] Amy [Pascal] For years, man, figuring out what I did with that privilege, and she was explaining to me that it would be hot, I didn’t have to be blue, and stuff like that in regards to my character, so you’d be a little more, and get a chance to hang out with these awesome playwrights . To walk on set and see these guys, I literally bowed to them, and we had a ball. I’m glad we got a fresh start, a whole new look,” Foxx shared.
Marvel Studios and Sony Pictures describe the film as: “In Spider-Man: No Way Homee, for the first time in the cinematic history of Spider-Man, the friendly neighborhood hero is revealed and is no longer able to separate his normal life from the high stakes of being a superhero.
