Justin Fields’ well-being a concern for Bears fans after seeing O-line

While it may be preseason, fans are concerned about Justin Fields after seeing the Chicago Bears’ offensive line performance.

The Chicago Bears have a responsible new system, with Ryan Bowles named general manager and Matt Ebervloss taking over as head coach. While there have been changes across the roster, Justin Fields holds the top left-back position, the team’s first-round pick for 2021. He showcased his talent at Ohio State, and now the world is waiting to see if he can get a better season out of his rookie year.

Facing the Seattle Seahawks in a pre-season game, Fields played a total of 10 first-half plays. Fields, however, was concerned due to the pressure the Seahawks’ defense faced as a result of the Bears offensive line’s performance.

Twitter concerned about Justin Fields playing behind the Bears offensive line

Those who watched the national broadcast shared their thoughts on the Bears offensive line on Twitter.

Although this is pre-season, Bears fans look at players across the roster to see how they’re doing and whether they’ll make the 53-man roster. All NFL fans are doing the same this summer.

In Fields’ limited playing time at Lumen Field, he completed 5 of 7 passes for a total of 39 yards, while running for 1 space on a single attempt.

The Bears traded a batch of venture capital with the New York Giants to move into the first round of the 2021 draft pick fields with pick No. 11. One of the picks that moved was the Chicago first-round pick, which the Giants used in the Alabama attack on Evan Neal in slot No. 7.

Fields sat behind veteran Andy Dalton initially in the 2021 campaign but eventually secured the starting job. In 12 games (10 starts, Fields threw 1,870 yards, seven touchdowns, 10 interceptions for a completion percentage of 58.9. He was fired 36 times for a total of 264 yards.

The Bears fanbase will be watching games this season, hoping the offensive line will improve, or carry enough Fields to do positive play on attack.
