The Sandman just released a special bonus episode, with the two-part event now streaming on Netflix – but what is it all about?
The Sandman has been the series on everyone’s lips and in everyone’s dreams for the past two weeks, but the adventure is far from over.
To the surprise of viewers around the world, Netflix just released a special bonus episode for the show, consisting of two spin-off versions of the side stories from the original comics.
So what’s this new add-on episode and who do you know as some of the newest guest stars from The Sandman’s special added feature?
The Sandman releases a special two-part bonus episode
Netflix made all of The Sandman fan’s dreams come true, with the release of a special extra two-part episode on the streaming platform on Friday, August 19.The tenth.
The special event is a bonus for 64 minutes episodedivided into two parts called “Calliope” and “Dream of a Thousand Cats”.

Meanwhile, “Calliope” is another side story (issue 18) that tells the story of a writer trying to capture Calliope’s inspiration with the goal of inspiring a new career-defining novel.
Sadly, the writer earns more than he bargained for when he gets into a feud between three witches and Morpheus – starring Arthur Darvill, Sir Derek Jacoby and Melissanthi Mahut.
How was the series rated by critics?
The Sandman has received a positive reception from both fans and critics alike since its global debut via OTT on August 5.The tenth.
At the time of writing, the 10-episode main series (excluding the new bonus episode) has scored 7.8/10 on IMDB and 84% on rotten tomatoes.
