Lili Reinhart Is Interested In A Post-Riverdale Future

While Riverdale Season 7 will return in early 2023, which marks the beginning of the end for the fan-favorite CW series. It was announced earlier this year that season seven would be the last of the series and when it comes to the professional future of one of the show’s stars, fans should expect to see something very different from their time in town with Pep. Lili Reinhart, who plays Betty Cooper Riverdalerecently teased “drama, deep roles” about her future after Riverdale finish.

In a recent appearance on happy sad confused Podcast (via digital spy), Reinhart said that after Riverdale, she’ll be exploring more adult roles and that’s something she’s very excited about.

“I have a lot of dramatic and profound roles in my future after that RiverdaleCertainly the roles you haven’t seen me in, said Reinhart. “I’m an adult! I’m an adult woman and I’m going to start playing those adult roles. That’s on my horizon, and I couldn’t be more excited.”

Reinhart, who is currently starring in Netflix’s Look both waysalso said recently that while she looks forward to what’s next for her in terms of the job, it’s still bittersweet to say goodbye to Riverdale.

“There are so many feelings. Bittersweet is the word, because obviously I’m going to miss this group of people I’ve been in my half twenties with. We’ll never all be together again working on the same thing, so I realize that, and I think we all realize that, And we are all sad about that,” Reinhart said. “It will be a very sad day when it actually ends, but I think the show has done so much for all of us and we are all ready to show the world what we have. What is on the other side is very exciting. I am very excited about the projects I have been developing with my production company. Over the past year and a half and we’ll be ready to shoot when Riverdale It ends next summer. But going into this final season, I think we’re all like, “This is our last resort, let’s really try to celebrate each other and spend time with each other because we’re never going to have this again.”

Back in May, CW President Mark Bedowitz spoke about the completion Riverdale And why season seven was the time to wrap things up.
