Dragon Ball Super She revealed one of her worst desires so far – as seen in Chapter 87 of Dragon Ball Super Mango. Over the course of the series, we’ve seen people who seek out or use Dragon Balls for petty selfish or downright evil reasons – but we’ve never seen a desire as dark, frightening, and twisted as the one we saw in this final chapter of a long-running granola arc.

in Dragon Ball Super Chapter 87, Goku and Vegeta believe they have come to a victorious end along with new ally Granola, with whom they unite to take down the evil Hitters gang, and their raging little brother Gas. Gas was able to unlock a power that Goku, Vegeta, or Granolah could not match – thanks to the power-boosting from Dragon Balls.
Gas brother (and hitters leader) used both of you Dragon balls on the planet of grain to make gas the most powerful warrior in the universe (at that moment); However, granola had previously made the same wish and learned that the cost was prohibitive: the new level of strength was taken from his own life force, leaving granola only three years to live. Well, the Elk was less concerned with and thoughtful of his brother’s life than his granola for his own: to give Gas the strength he needed, the Elk reduced his brother’s life to such an extent that Gas would surely die on the battlefield of the Grain Planet.
In fact, by the time Gus discovers his tragic horror is that his life is ending, the Heathers warrior is already a living corpse. He was nearly destroyed by Granolah’s Super Explosion (which greatly shortened Granolah’s life) but shockingly returned to combat as a living corpse, still able to expend the last of his strength. As mentioned, Elec’s desire for Gas to gain too much power at the cost of his life is perhaps one of the most twisted and sadistic uses of the Dragon Ball ever in Dragon Ball. It just goes to show how powerful wish-granting artifacts really are – and what kind of Faustian bargain they can be.
