Law & Order Unveils Massive SVU and Organized Crime Crossover Trailer

Law and order He has a huge crossover coming up with Special Victims and Organized Crime Unit. The show revealed a new trailer for today’s event during the Today show. Thursday, September 22nd, fans of the long-running franchise will get their wish. Programming schedule starts at 8pm with organized crimeAnd the SVU It’s 9 p.m. and the original series shuts things down at 10 p.m. To a lot of old viewers, this was the kind of episode that seemed almost impossible a few years ago. But entertainment is a different beast now. As an added bonus, fans who were unable to watch the special in real time will have the opportunity to air it on Peacock the next day. It’s clear that creator Dick Wolf and these creative teams are thrilled to exchange notes. The entire ad feels like a huge celebration of the Law & Order series. (A lot of people on the internet are already joking Law & Order: Endgame It looks amazing.) Check out the clip for yourself below.

“Nothing demonstrates the power of the ‘Law & Order’ brand more than an ambitious three-hour event with a story truly taken from the headlines that begins with ‘Organized Crime,’ then moves on to ‘SVU’ and finally the ‘Law & Order’ trial,” Wolf wrote in Statement: “(Writers) Rick (Eid) and Gwen (Segan) did a great job writing a compelling script and I can’t think of a better and better way to launch the new season of ‘Law & Order’ Thursday.”

Previous comments from show maker Rick Eid have alluded to the idea. He told Entertainment Tonight that crossing over the three shows was something writers had been fighting about during the pandemic. “There has been some talk of a crossover of three shows for next season,” he said. “I’m not sure if it’s episode one or two or three.”

Here’s how NBC describes the event of the wild cross: SVU’s Capt. Olivia Benson (Marisca Hargitay) and her ex-partner, Detective Elliot Stabler (Christopher Meloni) are brought in now-turned-star of “organized crime” following the breadth of the case. The lead guide directs D.A. Jack McCoy (Sam Waterston) and ADA Nolan Price (Hugh Dancy) (both from Mother Ship Show) into an international crime episode but, unsurprisingly, complications arise.”
