Albert Pujols, a veteran of the St. Louis Cardinals, became even more respected by giving a young fan the jersey from the back.
Saint Louis Cardinals veteran Albert Pujols has done many good things throughout his MLS career, but giving a young fan the jersey off his back is by far one of the most respected.
The fan carried a sign that read, “Albert, can we swap shirts? Go cardinals!”
Pujols’ wish fulfilled, and the boy seemed excited and in disbelief.
This is Pujols’ final season in his career, and he definitely makes it worth it both on and off the field.

Pujols may not be as good now as he used to be, but he’s definitely still been a hit this season as he finished his career well.
In addition to benefiting fans directly by giving away his own jersey, he leaves a lasting impact on the league that most players likely won’t achieve.
He is currently chasing 700 points on his home ground. If he hits only four teammates, he will pass Alex Rodriguez for the third most of his home career. He’s summoned 449 different shooters throughout his long career, which Ties with Barry Bonds for an all-time record. It has reached 693 homes.
Pujols also returned to St. Louis so he could retire to the city where he began his illustrious career. He played the first 11 seasons of his career with the Cardinals and another nine seasons with the Los Angeles Angels. He started 2021 with the Angels and was traded to the Los Angeles Dodgers for the rest of the season.
Now, he’s accomplished so much with the franchise that he took his first chance in the majors, winning over a new generation of card fans.
