This sequel brought back many fan favorites from the original series for a whole new slate of unexpected battles and challenges.
Erza is one of the many fighters who have been brought back into the fold with the events of Fairy Tail: 100 Years of Pursuit, The sequel saw Natsu Dragneel and his regular team take on the toughest task possible and were bothered by the ending of the original series. Erza has been in the midst of many of the tougher battles in Part Two than she ever was in that original, and she’ll be involved in many more as this massive new mission continues. Fairy Tail: 100 Years Quest announced last year that a new anime mod for the sequel was in the works, but unfortunately there have been few updates to it since the initial reveal. No potential release date, staffing, or production studio has been announced for Fairy Tail: 100 Years Quest As of this writing, that means there is still time to follow the original manga story. If you want to get a quick start on the sequel before the anime debuts, Fairy Tail: 100 Years Quest Officially licensed by Kodansha Comics. They describe the sequel string like this:
