Octavia Spencer implements FBI Docu-Series ‘Feds’ For Discovery +

Octavia Spencer’s Orit Entertainment has been hired to produce an FBI documentary series called “Feds.” Spencer will produce exec.

The docu series, which October Films co-produced, will air on True Crime Network ID and on Discovery+.

“Feds” (working title) is set to be a six-part production that will give viewers insight into America’s most notorious crime-fighting agency with exclusive access to active FBI agents and unusual and high-profile cases such as the MS-13 gang infiltration in Boston to bring down a drug empire In Florida, as told by agents, victims and informants. The public will also get the inside story of the close calls – the agency was able to prevent the tragedy with the help of specialized intelligence and secret agents.

As viewers, we’ve never been as inside the case as we are in this series. “Feds” marks the second collaboration in the multi-part Spencer and October Films deal for ID and Discovery+. The first, announced in June, was “Highway 20,” around an infamous stretch of Interstate 20 in Oregon, US, where dozens of women and girls from the 1970s to the 1990s fell victim to rape, murder, or simply disappeared into thin air.

Brian Clescam and Stephanie Cloft will also produce for Orit, while Gillian Pachter and Matt Robins will produce for October Films.
