She-Hulk’s lead writer explains why the show ignored the photoshoot

We’re only in two episodes She-Hulk: Attorney at Law, but the live-action series provides fans with updates that fans didn’t really know they needed in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The show was already full of surprise Easter eggs and unexpected fourth wall breaks, but it didn’t really recognize The Blip, the five years of disaster between Avengers: Infinity War And the Avengers: Endgameaway from a few fleeting lines of dialogue about how Bruce Banner/Hulk (Mark Ruffalo) helped restore humanity. In a recent interview with LifehackerAnd the Strong woman Lead writer Jessica Gao revealed why this creative choice was made, and said that in the world of the show, “this really happened and people really moved on.”

“A lot of the shows and movies in the MCU have kind of covered that, and you know, it’s been talked about a lot about how I felt, well, a lot of people actually covered that area that we accepted,” Gao explained. “We live in a world where this has already happened and people have already moved into it.”

She-Hulk: Attorney at Law Follows Jennifer Walters as she navigates the complex life of a single 30-year-old lawyer who happens to be a powerful green hulk of 6 feet 7 inches.
