Jim Harbaugh somehow compared the Michigan 2-QB approach to the Bible

Jim Harbo turns into a biblical book when he explains his quarterback-based approach to Michigan.

When it comes to naming the starting quarterback for the Michigan Wolverines, Jim Harbaugh praises Cade McNamara and JJ McCarthy for his written, two-back approach.

McNamara was the starter for the Wolverines last season. He helped Michigan win a Big Ten for the first time in ages, as well as make their first-ever trip to the College Football Playoff. As for McCarthy, he is a former five-star star waiting for his chance to start matches with the Wolverines. Meanwhile, Harbo points out Sulaiman About what he’s going to do now…

“It is based on the Bible. Sulaiman. “He was known to be a very wise person,” Harbaugh said on the podium on Monday of his decision to credit the starting quarterback.

Let’s just hope that McNamara and McCarthy didn’t sign the NLI to split in half at the Big House…

Jim Harbaugh points to the Bible in moving forward with his 2-quarterback approach

While many quarterbacks have played in the college game before, there’s a reason it’s always been a recipe for disaster in the NFL days. When you say you have two back players in the beginning, it really means that you don’t have either. There are quarterback rooms that are much worse than the ones in Ann Arbor, but we see what it would have been like if Justin Fields had stayed in Georgia.

For those who don’t remember, Fields couldn’t beat Jake Froome during his freshman year on campus in 2018. The change of coordinator helped pave the way for him to move to Ohio State to become one of the most successful quarterbacks in the school’s history. Had he stayed in Athens, there is a chance that sophomore Fields would have defeated young Jake Fromm. We will never know.

Moving on to the 2022 season, we came up with a similar scenario in Ann Arbor. Like Fromm before him, McNamara helped direct his school to College Football Playoff as a start. When it comes to McCarthy, we can all see his talent, as we could tell during Fields’ only year at UGA. Fortunately, these things will have a way of working themselves out in Michigan.

By naming McNamara as captain of the team, it shows that Harpo trusts him, as he should. However, will he really be the man to beat Ohio State in the Horseshoe this Thanksgiving weekend? Not to say McCarthy would, too, but his cap as a college passerby is much higher than that of McNamara. In the meantime, Michigan will enjoy playing its own pathetic, non-conference role.
