Reactions began following a story shared on social media by Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), Force Headquarters, SP Olumuyiwa Adejobi.

A few hours ago, SP Adejobi took to a verified Twitter account to tell how a man who was stranded on the third mainland bridge in Lagos, received unexpected help from police officers stationed on the very long bridge.

According to the police spokesman, the man was driving along the bridge when he suddenly rammed into his tire. While trying to repair a spare tire he had retrieved from his trunk, the man was approached by an officer who wanted to know what the problem was.

To the man’s dismay, the policeman signaled to his colleagues, and they began helping him fix the spare tire.

SP Adejobi went on to reveal that officers sent the man on his way without asking for a cent to help him.
