Taylor Swift, Mike McCarthy Will Hand Cowboys Super Bowl According to Date

A fascinating historical note indicates that the fates of Mike McCarthy, the Dallas Cowboys, and Taylor Swift are inextricably linked.

During his first three years with the Green Bay Packers, head coach Mike McCarthy saw a fast upward trajectory that renewed faith in another era in Green Bay.

McCarthy reached a 6-10 record in his freshman year, only experienced five losses the next day before losing on the Wild Card Tour, and then went to the Super Bowl the following year.

Coincidentally, Taylor Swift released albums in the first and third seasons.

What The Boys EIC RJ Ochoa has noticed is that there seems to be a pattern connecting Taylor Swift and Mike McCarthy to massive wins.

According to Ochoa’s logic, the Cowboys Super Bowl next February will be completely guaranteed.

The Dallas Cowboys hope the Taylor Swift-Mike McCarthy fables continue in 2022

If there is an example that correlation does not equal causation, it is this, but it is hard not to marvel at the frightening similarities between these events.

The repeat win record is weird, but the Cowboys’ quick turnaround makes sense in context. Dak Prescott was injured in the fifth week of what started as a very promising 2020 season. On his return from injury, he led the Prescott Cowboys to 12 wins the following season, a more accurate representation of his abilities. Of course, their hopes for a deeper season were dashed with McCarthy’s decision to play Prescott in the final match of a Wild Card game against San Francisco 49ers.

In terms of getting what it takes to win the Super Bowl, the Cowboys were hit hard when Tyron Smith suffered a left hamstring injury that will keep him out until December.

But if Swift can share a little bit of the success she’s enjoyed over the course of her career, it will be made clear again in the VMAsMaybe it’s a big win for the Cowboys, too.
