Season 4 of “For All Mankind” in Apple Casts Daniel Stern

Daniel Stern has been cast in the fourth season of “For All Mankind” at Apple, diverse Learn.

This news comes about a month after “For All Mankind” was renewed for a fourth season. Production is underway in the new season.

For All Mankind is an alternate history series that explores what would have happened if the global space race had never ended. The series presents a world in which NASA astronauts, engineers and their families find themselves at the center of extraordinary events viewed through the prism of an alternate timeline of history – a world in which the Soviet Union outstrips the United States to the Moon.

Stern joins the series as a regular as Elle Hobson, the new NASA official. As a former CEO of the auto industry, he was tasked with bringing the dealership into the 21st century, a much greater challenge than he had anticipated.

Stern is best known for his roles in films such as “Diner”, “City Slickers”, “Home Alone” and “The Milagro Beanfield War”. He is also known as the narrator on the hit series The Wonder Years. Most recently, Stern has been on shows such as “Shrill” on Hulu, “Manhattan” on WGN America, and “House of Lies” on Showtime.

The “For All Mankind” cast includes Joel Kinman, Chantel Van Santen, Judy Balfour, Sonya Walger, Chris Marshall, Cynthy Wu, Casey Johnson, Coral Peña and Ren Schmidt.

“For All Mankind” was created by Ronald de Moore along with series planners Ben Nedevi and Matt Wolpert. The three serve as executive producers, with Moore executive producing alongside Mariel Davis via Tall Ship Productions. David Weddell, Bradley Thompson and Nicole Petty also executive productions. Sony Pictures Television is the studio behind this series.
