Along with muddling through the highly anticipated conclusion of the David Gordon Green film trilogy, the director mentioned to the director that he continues to juggle the film’s ending, knowing that this will be the final chapter in his long-running Journey. Since the changes he addresses all refer to the editing process, his comments likely won’t reflect any major changes in the story’s beats, but only the timing and pace of how his ending will turn out. “It changes every day,” Green shared with the outlet. “Theoretically, the photo is locked, but this morning I called the editor and said, What if we do this thing…”

The end of Halloween It’s not the first time the series has attempted to provide a definitive epilogue, as the first sequel 2nd Halloween In 1981 it was supposed to be the conclusion of the trip of Laurie Strode and Michael Myers. Decades later, fans proved they couldn’t get enough of the characters, leading to numerous revivals, reboots, and re-icons. The new film is expected to be the end of Jamie Lee Curtis’ streak of participation in the series, as well as the participation of original director John Carpenter in the franchise, where he serves as producer and composer.
“I talk to John and Jamie Lee Curtis regularly about this,” the director explained in detail. “It’s exciting, uncertain, satisfying and sad. I enjoyed the ride but maybe it’s time to get off. I think we’ll go out with a bang.”

Opening moments confirmed that Myers was never contained, as the film showed his killer path through Haddonfield, Illinois. However, with The end of Halloween Leaping four years into the future and being on the heels of Karen Strode’s death, the upcoming movie is set to have a different vibe than what came before it.
Green described in detail, “If our second free-for-all movie is a violent mess, it’s a much more intimate and atmospheric score.”
