PlayStation Plus finally added more classic games

Sony has revealed that it will finally add a number of additional games to the catalog of classic games available via PlayStation Plus. Since Sony overhauled PS Plus earlier this summer to include classic PlayStation titles from the past, subscribers have made it clear that they want to see more games from PS1, PS2, PS3, and PSP added to the service. Fortunately, Sony seems to have heard of the furor because PS Plus is finally getting a good slate of classic add-ons later in September.

When they arrive on September 20, PS Plus Premium subscribers will be able to play six new games from old PlayStation platforms. Specifically, this group is set to add one game from PS1, three from PS3, and two from PSP. The classic Sucker Punch franchise Sly Cooper is also taking center stage with these new arrivals as the entire series will now be accessed via PS Plus. And as for the addition of PS1, 2 . siphon filterthis throwback title will also include trophy support, just like the original version siphon filter It is also available to play on PS Plus.

Here’s the full lineup of new classic titles coming to PS Plus later this month:

  • Siphon filter 2 | PS1
  • foxy group | PS3
  • Sly Cooper: Thieves in Time | PS3
  • Hackback Bentley | PS3
  • Toy Story 3 | PSP
  • Kingdom of Heaven | PSP

Once again, it is worth emphasizing that these games will only be available to play on PS Plus as part of the service’s Premium tier. Although PS Plus offers three different membership options, the most expensive (Premium) subscribers will be able to check out these games. Fortunately, subscribers to the basic version of PS Plus, called PS Plus Essential, will be able to access the collection of free games for the month of September in just a few days.
