Aquaman star Jason Momoa shaves his hair

Ever so loud about the overabundance of single-use plastics, Aquaman Superstar Jason Momoa has taken another drastic step in raising awareness about the issue, shaving his signature hair. The actor is mid-shaving in the video, noting that he’s doing it as a stunt to promote getting rid of single-use plastics, especially water bottles. Momoa begins in the video “Aloha, everyone.” “Give me those braids. So, I shave my hair. I do it for…” Momoa then notes how short the hair is on one side of his head, noting that he “never felt the wind there.” The actor continues to raise his hair until the camera sees it.

He added, “I do it for single-use plastics. I’m sick of these plastic bottles. We have to stop. Plastic forks, it’s all sh-t. It just goes to our land. It goes to our ocean. I’m here in Hawaii now and I see things.” In our surroundings, it’s so sad. So please, anything you can do to get rid of single-use plastics from your life, help me. Plastic bottles are ridiculous.”

Later, Momoa was linked to his own bottled water company, Mananalo water manager, which distributes water in aluminum bottles, and also comes with a promise that for every mananalu people buy the company will “remove the equivalent of one plastic bottle harming the planet from ocean-going waste.” Momoa’s caption reads: “Here’s a fresh start, let’s spread Aloha. We’re better at protecting our land and our oceans. We need to cut disposable plastics out of our lives and out of seas. Plastic bottles, plastic bags, packaging, and utensils are all out of it. Together Aloha c.”

Momoa can currently be seen in the final season of the popular series See on Apple TV + and will later appear on the big screen as Arthur Curry in Aquaman and The Lost Kingdom. The DC Comics feature was recently pushed back from March of next year to Christmas 2023, an eight-month delay. The actor will appear in a new movie later this year, starring as Netflix’s Cumberland. He will also appear as the central opponent of the upcoming Fast X game, starring against Vin Diesel, Michelle Rodriguez, John Cena, and other newcomers such as Brie Larson and Daniela Melchior.
