Harris County, Texas (KTRK) – Representatives said a woman’s ex-husband is fighting for his life in hospital after being shot by her new boyfriend in eastern Harris County.
Representatives said they responded to a domestic violence call early Tuesday morning at a home at 14500 of Bandera Street near Nancy Rose Street.
Authorities said the ex-husband showed up to the house just after midnight and got into a fight with her new boyfriend.
The victim was shot twice and had to be taken to a local hospital, where Tamer’s deputy said the man was in stable condition.
Meanwhile, the shooter, known as the woman’s current boyfriend, escaped before the deputies arrived.
Investigators said there were no children in the house at the time, and although the shooter is still at large, there is no threat to the public.
