The pitchers that can beat the Red Sox Bullpen

Well, we believe exit speeds, bat flips, launch angles, house steals, curveball hanging, Big League Chew, sausage races, and that unwritten rules of any kind are subjective folly, and an overstatement. We think Greg Maddox was a true magician. We believe that there should be a constitutional amendment protecting minor league baseball and that framing the stadium is both an art and a science. We believe in beautiful location, making WARP not a war, keeping you chasing closely, we believe love is the most important thing in the world, but baseball is good too.

What happened to Cody Bellinger?

Some Dodgers fans have been wondering why Cody Bellinger randomly “breaks” in the middle of a crucial series against the Milwaukee Brewers in August. It was a bit “down there”, sure, but it wasn’t any different from its usual production of the last couple of years overall.

So what is the reason? Did the Dodgers want more action from Joey Gallo? Did they want to see more of Chris Taylor in the field position?

After Monday’s action, Bellinger hit 0.200 with 0.645 OPS and 75 OPS +. Fans could view his 17 teammates, 55 RBI, 12 stolen bases and elite defense (0.7 dWAR, 5 Outs above average) as positive, but he did poorly with RISP (.211 AVG, .675 OPS) and high leverage (.214 AVG, .590 OPS), so you could argue that its useful offensive production wasn’t quite as useful. His 129 hits in 120 games put him on course for the worst of his career if he goes through the majority of September.

It’s worth wondering if the 27-year-old simply doesn’t have him anymore (he’s worth 1.2 wars since the start of 2020)… and it’s about debating whether the Dodgers will offer him a contract in the Offseason as he expects to make nearly 20 million dollars in his final judging year.

Little League legends never die

Chandler Redmond’s Home Run Course sounds like one of those 1930s mini-league stories that circulates often and whose hero begins to become legendary.

Junior league pitcher Steve Dalkowski supposedly threw 110-115 mph, decades ahead of Aroldis Chapman, but couldn’t tell where the ball was headed, inspiring Aroldis Chapman decades later. Slugger Joe Hauser, aka “Unser Choe,” a good nickname if you want to be constantly asked if you’re OK, hit the Over-60s twice, setting a record at the time with a score of 69. His fellow bass player Joe Bowman broke this The record with 72 in 1954 for Class C Roswell Rockets.

Of course, what these guys all have in common is their lack of a major major league footprint (although Hauser hit 60 bombs in the league as well). Chandler Redmond, a Cardinals farmer and 32nd round pick from Gardner Webb, would like to rise above legend and end his story differently.

Redmond, overall, is having a very satisfying 2022 season, smashing 19 times at home with a .788 OPS in the Double-A Texas League. He also contributes to one of the main game organizations in St. Louis, which appears to regularly take players out of the game, giving the likes of Matt Adams and Luke Voight the opportunity to bring their bulls with them and mash them. Like Paul Bunyan in the major tournaments.

But until Redmond gets that big-league shot, he will forever be known as the semi-unknown Cardinals who fired a single-shot, two-run bomb, three-run and a Grand Slam all in the same August game. In a retelling of the 80s, someone’s grandfather might throw someone inside the park there for good measure as well. After all, that’s how little tidbits work, right?

The pitchers that can beat the Red Sox Bullpen

The Red Sox Bullpen is the source of the pain and bad things in this world, it’s no exaggeration for me to say that watching the Red Sox take out the starter and look at the Bullpen is one of the worst parts of every night. The rookie could have given up five runs and three innings and would still inspire more confidence than going through that door on the court.

Being merciful and generous, I’ve decided to offer five options Boston can come up with from the pen that would make me feel better than Jeurys Familia, Matt Barnes, or (God forbid) Ryan Brasier or anyone who isn’t Garrett Whitlock Red Sox turns cases relief.

5. This kid from NFL Play 60 Commercials Who wanted a job as Cam Newton

While this kid might have a roadmap for raping Cam now that the former NFL MVP couldn’t find a home, I saw just how moving and confident he was when he warmed up. It’s not a turkey thrower on the bump, which it takes to qualify for promotion to the Boston Bullpen.

4. Kevin Costner…never played any baseball character, only Kevin Costner

Being in a baseball movie is more qualified to compete on the major teams than some Red Sox softeners have offered, so with Costner in several movies, I’ll put Chaim Bloom in touch with Dances With Wolves right away.

3. Gabrielle Starr’s 88-year-old grandmother

According to my sources (Gabrielle herself), this gem for women is ready to take the hill right now and show these walking disasters how to get three points. Sign me up for that kind of fire and you can’t teach the kind of veteran knowledge you undoubtedly possess.

2. The Black Knight of Monty Python and the Holy Grail after losing both arms and legs

You might say, “But Cody, how’s this guy going to take the adventure?” Well, that’s a question I ask myself about Red Sox relief jugs routinely — and they have their arms and legs. Besides, it’s just a wound in the flesh.

1. A literal potato bag

If nothing else, you can at least chop it up, season it, and fry it up for a nice side dish after the game. This would be one more asset than what Boston currently gets from bowling.

To all the shooters who have been set up by Albert Pujols

Albert Pujols broke a massive Barry Bonds record this season by snapping up 450 different shooters. During his 22-season career, he’s clearly seen a lot and watched players come and go throughout the league. He’s had the opportunity to take on some amazing shooters head-on, and some of them have been laid off as well.

Some of the most notable Pujols pitchers that we rent include:

  • Gerrit Cole
  • Latroy Hawkins
  • Aaron Loeb
  • Sony Gray
  • Trevor Hoffman
  • chris sel
  • Justin Verlander
  • Greg Maddox
  • Yo Darwish
  • Bartolo Colon
  • Hisashi Iwakuma
  • Cole Hummels
  • Zack Greene
  • Johnny Quito
  • Colin McHugh

The Pujols are also chasing several other home-run records, including a 700-person professional homeowner, which puts him fourth at most, behind MLB legend Babe Ruth. It’s two passes away from the A-Rod.

Whether he achieves his goal or not, he has decided to retire after this season and it has been fun to watch over his 22 years. Although he lost some power from his early days, he had a successful career hitting .296/.374/.543 in OPS of .917 during that. The veteran St. Louis Cardinals surely made a huge impact on baseball and left his mark for many generations to come.
