Assassin’s Creed games featuring witches and samurai will be announced soon

Ubisoft is apparently working on the Assassin’s Creed series with several games set to be revealed next weekend. The Assassin’s Creed series is one of the biggest gaming franchises thanks to how well it has evolved over the years, retaining old fans and attracting new fans with its massive leaps in innovation in the series. From the series that began during the Third Crusade and now deals with stories dealing with Spartans and Viking, and deals less with infiltration and general combat, it’s a difference between night and day. However, it still retains some of the DNA of those original games and it looks like Ubisoft will try to offer something for everyone in the coming years.

As I mentioned for the first time before Tom Henderson via Try Hard GuidesUbisoft is set to reveal several new Assassin’s Creed titles on September 10th at the Ubisoft Forward event. We already know Assassin’s Creed Mirage It will be there and it is rumored to be more linear and closer to the original games than the current era of the series. According to Henderson, there are two other games that are part of Assassin’s Creed Infinity It will also be revealed. These games are Project Red, a Samurai-esque game based in Japan, and Project Hexe, a darker game on the franchise that will be set during a witch hunt in the 16th century. While Mirage It is rumored to launch in 2023, and the other two games are not expected to arrive until 2024 at the earliest, and they likely won’t be released at the same time. Bloomberg also confirmed these reports.

With that said, it looks like fans will be able to play a more classic Assassin’s Creed game, get the long-awaited Japanese entry, and experience a unique experience with a title centered around a witch hunt. Only time will tell how any of these games will actually end, but the series has been on the rise for quite some time. With so much diversity on the horizon, it’s hard to imagine this not continuing.
