Jason Momoa Shaved His Head To Raise Awareness Of Plastics Pollution!

Jason Momoa made a casual start to fall this week by unveiling a striking new look.

The “Aquaman” star shared a video on Instagram on Tuesday in which she flaunted her mid-length hair. “I’ve never felt like the wind wasn’t so far away,” she joked, flashing her shortened turns to the camera.

However, Momoa’s hair change had a more serious point – the performer hopes to expose the issues surrounding the normal cost of single-use plastics. Momoa, who was born in Hawaii, said he was horrified to see the “desperate” rate of ocean waste engulfing his homeland.

In 2019, Momoa, who shaved off his beard for a comparable explanation, advised fans to opt for reusable cans and aluminum instead of plastic containers.

In the caption that went with the video, he promised to “get better at protecting our land and our oceans.”

Researchers estimate that approximately 19 billion pounds of plastic waste enter the world’s oceans each year, making it the No. 1 type of trash found in the sea.

At the 2017 meeting, normal creator Jenna Jambeck told HuffPost that this number will double by 2025 unless new measures are taken to curb litter around the world.

Momoa’s new ‘do comes shortly after the reveal of the third season of the Apple TV+ series, The Look. Last month, she took the privileged route to the show’s Los Angeles debut, locked in with her flawless novel.

Speaking to Entertainment Tonight in August, he said that Grandpa Voss’ occupation gave him a valuable chance to play a father on screen in a strange way.
