Black Widow Expansion Reveals Spy Preview

Legendary: A Marvel Deck Building Game builds its latest expansion around Marvel’s most dangerous spy, and now upper deck New details revealed and a first look at the new cards found in the Legendary: Black Widow expansion. Black Widow, also known as Natasha Romanoff, will be the star of the latest expansion set from Legendary, and many of the allies, agents, villains and masterminds included in the new Hero Deck are all new to the game. To make the most of Widow, you will need to familiarize yourself with keywords like Dodge and Undercover, which brings Widow’s spying skills to the fore. However, she can still get rid of the best of them if things get out of hand.

The preview focuses on the Dodge keyword first, which was previously seen in Legendary: Villains. Dodge means that during your turn you can discard that card from your hand to draw another card, so when you dodge a card in your hand, you don’t take advantage of its color (and thus don’t unlock superpowers).

It might not sound helpful, but it just depends on what you’re trying to do over the next few turns you can have many effects that can either help or hurt your overall goal, so it’s just a matter of being a few steps away from progressing in an overall strategy of maximizing Really this ability.

The other keyword that comes into play in Widow’s Hero Deck is Undercover, which harkens back from Legendary: SHIELD Sending a hero Undercover means you put that hero in your victory pile, and he deserves one victory point.

There are cards that allow you to send secret cards to others, while some cards, like Yelena Belova’s Strike and Fade card, can disguise themselves, and you’ll still be able to use other aspects of the card beforehand. The Upper Deck is set to reveal more previews for the upcoming set, and you can find the official description for Legendary: Black Widow below.

“Natasha Romanoff was orphaned as a child, raised and trained to become a murderous spy before becoming a superhero and an avenger. This 30th Marvel Legendary expansion is filled with heroes and villains from decades past. Black Widow, Red Guardian, Winter Soldier and White Tiger join the fight against evil!”

Legendary: Black Widow is set to hit stores in September.
