Mob Psycho 100 has a lot of high points, and none of them are more popular than Reigen Arataka. The con man has become an anime icon as many know it, and his reach has expanded across the fan base. In fact, Reigen has become somewhat of an internet icon with many flagging him as a cool sex symbol. And right now, the anime is going viral with Undertale thanks to an online viral vote.
The whole thing happened this week when fans of Reigen and Mob Psycho banded together for a wild cause. An unofficial poll went viral on Twitter where netizens asked fans to vote for Tumblr’s Sexyman, and the choices were clear. The winner could be Sans from Undertale or Reigen… and the campaign has intensified somewhat.

With over 240,000 votes submitted, the internet went wild as Sans and Reigen supporters hit social media to find the votes. In the end, Sans beat Reigen with 0.02 percent of the vote. Of course, Mob Psycho 100 fans gracefully bowed, even wild polling caught Undertale’s attention originator Toby Fox on Twitter.
And yes, we are totally serious about that. Toby Fox is glad Sans won, and he even wrote a fan short story about the Undertale hero facing Reigen. This is exactly how things got unruly with this poll.
As you can see below, fans are voting as they either celebrate or mourn the results. But when it comes to Reigen, it seems that even the most loyal Sans fan can agree on one thing. No other character could give the skeleton boy a run for their money, and Reigen deserves his status as a sex symbol even with that loss.
