Out-of-this world art museum Seismique is unlike any other!!

Houston, Texas — When you step inside Seismique, you will feel as if you have been transported to a science fiction wonderland. The 40,000-square-foot attraction is Houston’s newest permanent art museum — unlike any other in the world.

Seismique includes 40 different immersive exhibits, or galaxies, as the museum’s creators call them. Each galaxy offers a unique experience, from the landscape of colorful globe lights that react to touch to the 70-foot-high spaceship and climbing, grid-like gravity that will take you back to your childhood. Unlike other art museums, we encourage you to touch and interact with the exhibits at Seismique.

“This is for all your senses,” said John Anselmo, COO of Seismique. “Share the way you want, as much or as little as you want. It’s a freer form. You can enjoy it in multiple ways. It brings out a boyish wonder in just about everyone.”

Seismique galleries appear out of this world thanks to the latest technology, including nine million LED lights, 111 projectors, motion capture technology, holograms, light mapping, augmented reality and more. Forty different artists from all over the world have spent weeks creating this wonderful world that visitors of all ages can enjoy.

“It’s a tremendous experience,” said Steve Kopelman, founder of Seismique. “Just watching people come in with their mouths shriveled, and then load up on color from there.”
