Los Angeles — The vampire simulation series “What We Do In The Shadows” has concluded season 4 with a surprising revelation about the future of Young Colin. We won’t spoil it here, because it’s one you’ll need to see for yourself. Mark Brooks, who plays Colin, says one question has definitely been answered.

Playing Colin at all ages was particularly fun for Proksch, and while the actors were given plenty of freedom to adlib, they certainly enjoyed what the book had to offer.
“We always get what’s on the page illustrated, and that’s the first few shots,” Proksch says. “Nine times out of ten it’s more fun than anything we come up with.”
Emmy voters agree. “What We Do In The Shadows” earned 7 Emmy nominations, including for Outstanding Comedy Series and Outstanding Writing for a Comedy Series.
With a few busy days ahead, Executive Producer/Writer/Executor Paul Sims says, “Two days of schedule reads and then they fly to LA for a short Emmy weekend and then come back and start filming the next season right away. I really feel like we’ve all done what we celebrated.” When we were nominated. It was a surprise last year and an even bigger surprise this year.”
As for season 5? Simms gave a little hint about The Red Carpet. It promises “the sexiest, dirtiest, almost stomach-churning episode that includes all vampires.” This is totally a tease! You can catch the first four seasons of “What We Do In The Shadows” now on Hulu.
