The Posteason Atlanta Braves roster doesn’t need these three players.
The Atlanta Braves are going to the postseason! It has not been decided who exactly will play, where they will get in the MLB Postseason bracket, and how far they can go. Regardless of these important facts, we know the Braves will see some action in October with their season on the line as their magic number continues to shrink.
An important preparation for their defense for the World Championships is to bring in the best players who can participate in the post-season tour. Second-half decisions last year helped propel Atlanta into a prime position to win the title.
Unfortunately, for these three members of the Braves organization, they shouldn’t come close to the post-season roster.
1) Braves Posteason List needs to stay away from Ehire Adrianza
Is there a role for Ehire Adrianza on the Braves Posteason roster? It certainly could be there. He was able to get 10 games with the Braves in 2021 after the 2021 season where he only took one hit in all of those chances.
Not known for his batting skills, Adrianza is a companion man who is able to play all over the court. In this year’s postseason, it may not be necessary.
With the belief that Ozzie Albies would be around, the Braves could cover their ground with Orlando Arcia and Vaughn Grissom as backup. Adrianza may have more flexibility than Guillermo Heredia. However, Heredia is useful as a defensive player.
Plus, if one is to come out of its year-long slump, Heredia is more likely to do so than Adrianza. Adrianza is only useful in a limited role while Heredia can at least offer good roles in defence.
