“And we’re still going strong.”

Orville Content creator Seth MacFarlane took to Twitter today to celebrate the sci-fi show’s fifth anniversary with what fans likely see as an upbeat message. Orville It debuted on September 10, 2017, on Fox. After two seasons on the network, Orville It released its long-delayed third season, with the new title Orville: New Horizonson Hulu earlier this year. With this season completed, The Orville is also available to stream on Disney+. As fans await news of a possible fourth season, MacFarlane tweeted, “#theorville premiered 5 years ago today, and we’re still going strong! Thanks to everyone on both sides of the screen!”

MacFarlane saying that the series is “still going strong” will give fans reason to hope that more episodes are still possible. Anniversaries also fall on the same day that ‘inside Orville” The painting takes place at Gallery D23. Features Orville Stars Benny Johnson, Scott Grimes, J. Lee and Ann Winters pull the curtain on the making of the series.

In August, MacFarlane said he believed Orville Has a 50/50 chance of renewal. However, he felt that new viewers who immerse themselves in the series on Disney+ could tip the scales OrvilleValid.

“I hope that when the show drops to Disney+, people who haven’t found out yet [The Orville] You’ll give him a chance all of a sudden.” TVLine. “That’s a potential game-changer for us. I think when people sit down and give the show a chance, it creatively changes their expectations. I think the biggest burden in the show is the preconceived notions. People think it’s one thing – there are the people who think it’s a skit. – And when they sit down to watch it, they realize it’s something completely different. Once you see people’s eyeballs, the show does the work, it speaks for itself, and people tend to get drawn in.”

As for what OrvilleThe series’ fourth season, if the series is renewed, would appear to be called Blank Slate by MacFarlane. “It’s hard to say exactly what Season 4 is going to be like, because when we started writing Season 3, we describe the things that happened – alliances shifted, Kaylon became an ally, two clients became enemies – I never would have guessed. It’s just something that grew up in the writers room over time. We definitely did. Prepare threads this year, and most of them were pretty obvious, which work for the rewards in Season 4, but how everything intertwines, evolves and evolves… I don’t even know if we’ve picked up!”
