First look at Disney and Pixar’s Elemental Cast revealed at D23

Earlier this year came the official announcement of the next collaboration between Disney and Pixar, and the upcoming Elemental and now new details from Disney’s D23 Expo have revealed more about the film. It was previously confirmed that, as the name suggests, Elemental will deal with the basic elements of the world, naturally. Fire, water, earth and air will be at the heart of the story, found in a world together. It was confirmed on the panel that Leah Lewis (Nancy Drew) will play Ember, a fiery girl, with Mamoudou Athie (Jurassic World Dominion) playing Wain, a boy made of water. Directed by Peter Son (The Good DinosaurAnd the partly cloudy In short) and produced by Dennis Rimm (The Good DinosaurAnd the cars 2), the film travels alongside an unexpected pair, Ember and Wade, in a city where the inhabitants of fire, water, earth, and air live together. The fiery young woman and the man flocking to the road are about to discover something fundamental: how much they have in common.

“My parents immigrated from Korea in the early 1970s and built a crowded grocery store in the Bronx,” Sohn previously said of the film. “We were one of the many families who ventured into a new land with hopes and dreams – all blending in a big salad bowl of cultures, languages ​​and beautiful little neighborhoods.
