Lea Michele will not go on stage at “Funny Girl” on Saturday due to “early signs and symptoms of COVID.” Although her COVID test results were “inconclusive,” she won’t perform on the Saturday or evening show.
“I am surprised to say that due to early signs and symptoms of COVID and inconclusive test results – due to production safety protocols, I am not allowed to perform today’s shows,” she wrote on Instagram. “I will be auditioning again and will learn more about tomorrow’s performance soon. Julie will be crushing on her today as a fan – like all of our amazing companions who have come incredibly well this week as we battle the outbreak of COVID-19 in our theater.”
