Predicted college football rankings after the Notre Dame unrest, Texas A&M

Notre Dame lost to the Fighting Irish and the Texas A&M Aggies shockingly in the second week, and the college football rankings plummeted.

It didn’t take long in the 2022 college football season for some massive disruption. Earlier in the day, the Alabama Crimson Tide was on a sudden alert, but beat the Texas Longhorns 20-19. But since the score became final, two of the top 10 teams have lost.

First, Notre Dame Irish Fighting. After losing their season opener against the Ohio State Bucks, the Fighting Irish had an easy game on paper against the Marshall Thundering Herd. Instead, Notre Dame lost 26-21 to start its season with a 0-2 score.

Then, Texas A&M Aegis, who were expected to be a real force at the Securities and Exchange Commission. Instead, the country’s sixth-placed team finished with just 14 points. Texas A&M fell to Appalachian climbers 17-14

So with the best of these programs losing out, what does the expected top ten look like now?

Here’s what’s the top 10 out of Top 25 AP Rankings It can look like it’s coming on Sunday.

  2. Alabama Crimson Tide
  3. Ohio Bucks
  4. Michigan Wolverines
  5. Clemson Tigers
  6. Urgent Oklahoma
  7. Baylor Bears
  8. USC Trojans
  9. Oklahoma Cowboys
  10. Florida Gators

With Notre Dame and Texas A&M losing, they both dropped out of the Top 10. They will be replaced by the Oklahoma State Cowboys and Florida Gators, the 11th and 12th seed teams entering Week 2. Of course, that depends on the Cowboys beating the Arizona State Devils, and defeating The Gators Kentucky Wildcats No. 20.

Georgia took first place with an easy 33-0 win over Samford, arguing that Alabama narrowly missed out on Texas.

The Ohio State Buckeyes maintained their third overall standings with a 45-12 victory over the Arkansas State Red Wolves.

Clemson Tiger of Dabo Sweeney defeated Foreman Paladins, 35-12.

As of this writing, Michigan, Oklahoma, Baylor, and USC have not played.
